The Carolina Estate comfortably accommodates up to 150–160 seated guests for weddings and receptions. For cocktail-style receptions, networking events, and standing gatherings, the venue can host up to 260 guests. Our 23-acre property also offers flexible outdoor spaces for larger celebrations. 

Yes. The Carolina Estate offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, allowing couples to select the setting that best reflects their vision. Outdoor ceremonies can be held overlooking our beautiful 5.5-acre pond, while elegant indoor options are available within our climate-controlled event spaces. 

We always have a beautiful backup plan. In the event of inclement weather, ceremonies can seamlessly transition indoors to our spacious, climate-controlled ballroom, ensuring your celebration remains comfortable and stress-free. 

Absolutely. Couples may schedule a complimentary two-hour bridal portrait or photography session prior to their wedding day, allowing them to capture stunning images throughout the estate and grounds before the celebration. 

Yes. The Carolina Estate features two private wedding suites designed to provide comfort, convenience, and memorable moments before your ceremony. 

Diamond Suite – An elegant bridal retreat featuring natural light, expansive mirrors, a private restroom, and a separate Bridal Retreat space for dressing, quiet moments, and special memories. 

Ruby Suite – A sophisticated groom’s lounge offering comfortable seating, games, a private restroom, and the unique Beer Can Room.

Yes. The Carolina Estate offers complimentary on-site parking for guests, wedding parties, vendors, and event staff. 

Yes. Accessible entrances and accommodations are available to ensure all guests can comfortably enjoy the property. 

Guests can enjoy waterfront views, beautifully landscaped grounds, scenic photography locations, outdoor gathering areas, and the peaceful atmosphere of our historic estate property. 

Yes. Outside vendors are permitted pending review and approval. We also maintain a list of trusted preferred vendors and are happy to provide recommendations. 

Yes. A selection of décor items may be available for client use. Please speak with our team for current inventory and options. 

We work closely with professional Month-of Coordinators and provide venue hosts to help ensure a seamless event experience. Additional planning services may be available through our preferred vendor partners. 

Yes. We allow insured, professional catering teams and offer flexible beverage options depending on your package. All alcohol service must comply with North Carolina ABC regulations. 

The Carolina Estate is approximately 45 minutes from Durham and 50–60 minutes from Raleigh and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), making it a convenient venue for local and out-of-town guests. 

Yes. Private tours are available by appointment and provide an opportunity to explore the property, view event spaces, discuss packages, and ask questions. 

Booking is simple: 

1. Submit an inquiry. 

2. Schedule a private tour. 

3. Select your date and package. 

4. Sign your venue agreement. 

5. Submit your reservation payment. 

In many cases, yes. Overnight storage arrangements can be discussed with our team prior to your event. 

Cleanup is included according to your selected package. Specific details will be outlined during the booking process.
